I will overwhelm 'legitimate boxer' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be shown live on Netflix.

Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to build hype for next month's bout.

Ex twice unified title holder Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Fighter's Mindset

"I'm going to damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.

"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's what I want to do."

Civil Interaction

In spite of such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally known for his theatrics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul rather targeted ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK opponent Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Fighter

In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.

Financial Success

Still, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's largest financial successes, frequently receiving huge earnings.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and stated he would derail the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.

"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.

Physical Difference

As Joshua and Paul engaged in the traditional face-off, with their physical disparity on show, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is truly happening.
